We Can Depend on God!!

Psalm 19:

1. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above[a] proclaims his handiwork.

2 Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.

3 There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.

4 Their voice[b] goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

Without speaking one human word of any human language, nature itself demonstrates that  We can Depend on God!
In them he has set a tent for the sun,

5 which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them,
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

The sun never set on the earth.  It is simply shared form one side to the other.

The sun provides heat and light energy for growing everything and providing visibility.  And when the moon is at the right point in time, the sun allows us to see at night.

We can consistently depend on God.

The Laws of God are perfect and never waver.  He revives each and every soul each and every day.

We can depend on God.

With the falling rain, sleet and snow, the grounds of the earth are replenished with elements, compounds and minerals that provide food and nourishment for all life forms.

God’s Laws of nature are perfect.

He makes no excuses, God consistently, without failure, provides for our good.

We can depend on God.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect,[c] reviving the soul;  the testimony of the Lord is sure,
    making wise the simple and the foolish;

We can depend on God.

Through nature, God provides for our natural bodies.

God also provides for the revival and the survival of our mind, soul and spirit.

God provides the deepest inner peace and the most profound joy we can experience!!!

You may ask, “How does God protect and revive our mind, soul and spirit from destruction?”

His love, His Word and His Spirit.

Hear what the Psalmist writes:

8 The precepts, the teaching, the rules, the instructions of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;  the commandment of the Lord is pure,  enlightening the eyes;  9 the fear, the respect, and the love of the Lord is clean,  enduring forever;  the rules[d] of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether.  10 More to be desired are they, than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.

The precepts of the Lord revive our mind and spirit with joy, even in the times of trials, heart aches, and troubles. Some say, “Joy comes in the morning.”  But with the faith God gives to us, joy is full time, 24/7, day and night, 365 and ¼ days of the year each and every year on into forever and a day, infinity.

We can depend on God to give us strength to stand when attacked or the odds are against us. We know, by Faith, that we have the victory, because Jesus the Christ, God’s Son, gives us the strength to endure, to rise up and move forward with the victory.

We can depend on God.  He is not a liar.

But we must strive to Know, strive to keep and strive to do God’s precepts and instructions day and night. Doing so empowers us to be dependable to each other, as God is dependable toward us. Be Holy as God is Holy!!

We can depend on God to make us dependable to our family, to our friends and to unmet family and friends.  Mistakenly called strangers!

You say: “I cannot do that!!” You are Right!  God knows you cannot that alone.  With God’s help, you can do it, we can do it.  He is with us, helping and keeping us to do His will.  God empowers us to do strange and bold things. God gives us the tools. God Himself is with us by His Word and His Spirit. We see and work by faith, not just by logic. God’s Spirit, with His Word, is our Teacher, our Helper and our Keeper.  With God’s precepts in our mind, soul, and spirit, we never stand alone. By faith, we can do all things through Christ who gives the strength.

WE CAN DEPEND ON GOD!!

11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.  12 Who can discern his errors?  Declare me innocent from hidden faults.  13 [God], Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me!  Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.  Repent and be forgiven.

We can depend on God to help us through, and then His sons, His daughters, His women, His men, His boys, His girls, can be depended on to help others through.

God is dependable.  God’s People are dependable!!

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
