Worship Services

Worship Services at St. Luke's takes place each Sunday Morning at 10:30 A.M. Worship is a time for all to come and give  praise and adoration to God in prayer; praise God in songs; to hear the preaching of the Word; to celebrate the Holy Sacraments  of Holy Communion and Holy Baptism.  Worship services strengthen God's call to us to bring lonely souls to Him.  Worship service is a time for Christians to further develop One Heart, One Mind Saying the Same Thing: Jesus is Lord!

Marriage

Marriage is a gift God has given to all humankind for the well-being of the entire human family. Marriage is a civil contract between a woman and a man.

For Christians, marriage is a covenant through which a man and a woman are called to live out
together before God their lives of discipleship.

In a service of Christian marriage a lifelong commitment is made by a woman and a man to each other, publicly witnessed and acknowledged by the community of faith.

At St. Luke's Church, Sunday Bible school is designed to change lives for Jesus Christ by evangelizing the lost and disciplining those who respond to the gospel through our classes. This is the Great Commission.

Sunday school renders Christian  education to people of all age groups and serves as a platform for people to come together in service to each other  in Christ.

Sunday school is about teaching the people, young and old,  to be concerned towards society and work for its betterment.

The Sunday school education aims at developing a society that believes in living with peace and harmony, it also helps the people of all age groups to adopt the principles of God, it also intend to teach the people the ways to adhere to ideals in life that involves the learning of scriptures from the Bible. Learning what the bible say helps people communicate with God.

Attending Sunday school is an excellent way to make our small contribution towards the spread of the principles of God. Being a student of a Sunday school can pave for us a path of approaching God and understanding what He has to say to us.

Wednesday Evening Fellowship, Prayer, and Bible Study

6:30 P.M.

At St. Luke's: The Purpose of Bible Study

In 2 Timothy 2:15 we are commanded to be diligent so that we can rightly divide the Word of truth. God tells the prophet in Hosea 4:6 that His people perish for a lack of knowledge.

If we as Christians want to effectively minister the Word of God to people we need to know what the Bible actually says. This is what makes bible study so important. It is not good enough to read the Bible as though it was the latest best selling novel.

We must test all things, especially when it comes to Scripture. In Acts 17:11, the Bereans searched the Scriptures to see if the things that Paul and Silas were teaching them were true! This is what Bible study is all about.

Let us attend Bible study.  Let us learn to use the tools of studying the Bible  effectively  and enhance our knowledge of God's will so that we too can rightly divide the Word of truth.

And if we teach others to do the same we can help spread the Gospel to the whole world and thus fulfill the Great Commission!
